Review how your rules perform
Once rules run, review what they decide across applications. Look for rules that escalate more than reviewers can handle, and exceptions that waive a rule for one application.

Review rule results
Policy trends show how often each rule allows, warns, transforms, escalates, or denies. A sudden change often means the application or its data changed.
Review exceptions
An approved exception waives one rule for one application until it expires or is revoked. A Deny or Escalate from that rule becomes Warn, and the record keeps the original result. Exceptions don’t fix the underlying risk.
