SOC 2 Type II

SOC 2 Type II is an independent examination of whether described controls operated effectively over a defined period. The final report, not a product page, is the authority for the systems, criteria, period, tests, and results covered by the examination.

Request the current report status and approved evidence through your enterprise diligence contact. An issued report defines its systems, criteria, period, tests, and results.

Evaluate the current status

Before relying on SOC 2 for procurement, a pilot, or an audit:

  1. Ask your VeriProof contact for the current security evidence package.
  2. Confirm which service, environment, and time period the evidence covers.
  3. Review any open exceptions, customer responsibilities, and services outside the stated boundary.
  4. Record the evidence version and review date in your vendor-risk file.

Use current, approved evidence or signed terms for audit scope, control operation, availability targets, incident response, and report-delivery commitments.

Customer responsibilities

Configure VeriProof for its intended use and assign owners for access, credentials, retention, and integration data. Your organization determines whether the available evidence meets its legal and risk requirements.

Request evidence

Use the approved enterprise diligence or support channel to request current evidence. Include the VeriProof service, deployment, environment, and review deadline so the security owner can provide the applicable material.
