Customer PortalOverview

Customer Portal

The Customer Portal is the day-to-day workspace for operating VeriProof after an application is live. Teams use it to monitor AI behavior, review sessions, manage policy, respond to alerts, and prepare evidence without changing application code.

Who uses the portal?

VeriProof uses role-based access control with six customer-facing personas. Your administrator assigns your role. The portal automatically adapts navigation, default views, and available actions to match it.

Select your role to see what the portal looks like for you.

Show content for:
Admin

You have full access. As an Administrator, you see every section of the portal — from SDK health monitoring to evidence exports to billing. Use Settings → Roles & Permissions to provision and adjust roles for your team.

Developer

Your focus is instrumentation. As a Developer, you work primarily with Applications, Sessions, and the Playground. You configure API keys, inspect session traces, and verify that the SDK is sending governance data. You do not see compliance or cost analytics views — those belong to other roles.

Gov. Engineer

Your focus is policy. As a Governance Engineer, you author Rego rules, manage evaluation datasets, configure governance thresholds, and use the Playground to validate policy logic. You see compliance data but not PII or cost analytics — a deliberate design for external consultants.

Compliance

Your focus is evidence. As a Compliance Officer, you monitor regulatory framework coverage, manage audit engagements, export evidence packs, and approve governance gates. You see compliance, alerts, sessions, and the governance dashboard.

Biz. Owner

Your focus is outcomes. As a Business Owner, you see the Portfolio, cost analytics on the Analytics page, governance ROI dashboards, and compliance health — all in business language. You can view the sessions list to find items that need escalation or approval. You manage team members but do not configure applications or see raw technical data.

Auditor

Your focus is independent verification. As an Auditor, you access a view scoped to your active audit engagement. You can replay sessions in Time Machine, export evidence packs, verify blockchain anchors, annotate sessions to capture your audit findings, and manage your engagement record. You cannot configure applications, manage users, or bulk-modify session status.

Note. The portal shows “Policy Manager” as the in-app label for the Governance Engineer role. These terms refer to the same role. This documentation uses Governance Engineer as the canonical name to match the API role type CustomerGovernanceEngineer.

In sandbox and training flows, the View as switcher lets you preview the portal as any persona. Use it to confirm which navigation paths and actions each role sees before you share access with a new team member.

Top-Level Navigation

The sidebar is role-aware, but the current portal is organized around a stable set of top-level destinations:

Navigation itemWhat it is for
HomeYour default landing page with role-specific KPIs, focus items, and guided next steps
ApplicationsApplication list plus each application’s role-specific workspace
SessionsCross-application session search and investigation
ComplianceFramework coverage, gap analysis, regulatory reference, and business-readiness review
AlertsLive alert response, acknowledgement, and escalation tracking
AnalyticsPortfolio trends, cohort comparison, cost, and model analysis
PlaygroundSandboxed prompt testing against live policy configuration
RulesRule authoring and policy template workflows
Review QueuesHuman review operations for flagged sessions

Some roles also see a secondary sidebar section for policy or configuration work. In the Compliance Officer experience, that section is labeled Governance.
