Set up your organization
Confirm your organization name and business time zone, then make sure each setup role has a person. VeriProof uses the time zone for due dates, report periods, and review deadlines.

Confirm the profile
Open Organization profile in Settings. Check the organization name and choose the business time zone. Until you choose one, VeriProof uses a platform default, and dates may not match your working day.
Assign the setup roles
VeriProof has six roles. Each role has its own Home, Inbox, and permitted actions.
| Role | Responsible for |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Access, applications, and organization settings |
| Developer | Connecting applications and fixing integration issues |
| Governance Engineer | Rules that check what applications do |
| Compliance Officer | Requirements in scope, evidence, and remediation |
| Business Owner | Business results and decisions such as accepting a risk |
| Auditor | Read-only review inside an audit engagement |
Invite people from Members settings with their role selected. One person can hold several roles. In a small team, add the roles you’ll cover to your own account.
Running VeriProof on your own
You can hold all six roles. Some decisions still need a second person, such as approving a production promotion or a risk acceptance you proposed. Working across roles lists them and suggests an order of work.
Connect single sign-on
If members should sign in with your identity provider, open SSO configuration and connect Microsoft Entra ID or Okta. Test the connection before you require it.
