Quick overview

Application Sessions

The Sessions tab shows every recorded session for this application. Use it to find one run quickly, review policy outcomes, and open Time Machine for step-by-step detail.

What you can do here:

  • Search by session ID, content fragment, or metadata tag.
  • Filter by outcome, risk, date range, and review state.
  • Export the current filtered set for audit or team review.

Tip: Start with filters, then open Time Machine when you need the full evidence trail for one session.

Application Sessions

The Sessions tab is the fastest way to review activity for one application. It keeps session search, policy outcomes, and deeper investigation paths in one place so teams can move from summary to evidence without changing context.

Role-aware features
Available to
AdministratorDeveloperGovernance EngineerCompliance OfficerBusiness OwnerAuditor

All roles can view the Sessions tab. What you see inside each session depends on your role. Administrators, Developers, Governance Engineers, and Auditors see the full execution trace. Compliance Officers see the session summary and policy outcome — not the raw trace steps. Business Owners see the session summary and risk classification only.

Use this tab when you already know which application you are reviewing and want to stay scoped to that application.

Gov. Engineer

You can bulk sign-off sessions scoped to this application from the top of the filtered session list. Filter to the relevant date range, outcome, or risk tier before signing off, then confirm the batch in the dialog. Each sign-off is recorded in the policy audit log with your identity.

Compliance

The Bulk sign-off action (top of the filtered session list) lets you mark multiple sessions as reviewed for compliance purposes in one step. Filter to the relevant date range and outcome before signing off.

Biz. Owner

You see the session list with risk and outcome columns. Use the filters to find sessions that are escalated or flagged for approval. You cannot open the raw execution trace — use the session summary panel instead.

Auditor

Sessions outside your engagement date range and application scope appear locked. You see the full step-by-step trace for unlocked sessions. Click any unlocked session to open it in Time Machine, then use Export evidence to download an anchor-verified record.

Common tasks

  • Find one session by ID or metadata.
  • Review the latest FAIL or ABSTAIN outcomes.
  • Export a filtered set for audit or handoff.
  • Open Time Machine for the full step-by-step record.

Best practice

Apply the narrowest filters you can before exporting. Smaller, targeted exports are easier to review and easier to explain later.
