See a rule decide a real action

A connected application is only governed once a rule decides what it does. A Governance Engineer writes and turns on the rule. Your job is making sure someone has that role and can open the application.

Open this guide in VeriProof(opens in a new tab)

Make sure someone owns the rules

Open the application and check who holds the Governance Engineer role for it. If no one does, assign someone from Members settings, or add the role to your own account.

Check the first decision

When a rule is active, each action the application reports gets a result: Allow, Warn, Transform, Escalate, or Deny. Open a recent session and find the rule’s result in its record.

A rule running in Shadow records what it would decide without changing what the application does. Shadow results count as decisions here.
