Agent integration versions

Check the discovery document for the deployment you will connect to:

https://<your-veriproof-portal>/.well-known/veriproof-configuration

Use its supported contract versions when checking compatibility. A package version and a contract version are not interchangeable.

The current discovery implementation publishes:

  • CLI contract: 1
  • MCP surface: 1
  • Integrity proof: 2
  • SDK ingest contract: 1

Before updating a client, compare its supported contracts with the target deployment. Use the approved package instructions and verify the connection after updating. Do not infer compatibility from a matching product name or a larger version number.

For MCP, also record the protocol revision negotiated by the client. See Test VeriProof with MCP for that separate check.
