Home
Home is the starting point for day-to-day work in the portal. It gives each role a different mix of KPIs, focus items, and follow-up actions.
Key panels:
- KPI strip — the top-level metrics most relevant to your role.
- Focus items — work that needs attention now.
- Role-specific cards — evidence, policy, monitoring, or business views.
- Guided next steps — actions that move setup or review work forward.
Tips:
- Use the View as switcher in sandbox and admin-led reviews to compare role experiences.
- Treat Home as the summary layer. Open Applications, Sessions, Alerts, or Compliance for detailed investigation.
Home
Home is the default landing screen when you sign in to VeriProof. It is role-adaptive, so each persona arrives at the work that matters most without opening irrelevant views first.
All roles land on Home after sign-in. The KPI strip, focus items, and action cards differ by role.
Role views
Home changes by role:
| Role | What Home emphasizes |
|---|---|
| Administrator | Overall fleet status, open issues, and cross-team follow-up |
| Developer | SDK reporting health, coverage gaps, and instrumentation next steps |
| Governance Engineer | Rule posture, policy gaps, and systems needing policy attention |
| Compliance Officer | Evidence readiness, framework posture, and governed follow-up work |
| Business Owner | Business-language health, approvals, and outcome summaries |
| Auditor | Read-only evidence and engagement-scoped context |
In sandbox, use the View as bar at the top of the page to compare all six personas without leaving the current application or session context.
What You See On Home
KPI strip
Most roles see a KPI strip near the top of Home. The exact cards vary, but the goal is the same: show the most important operating signals before you drill into detail.
| Common signal | What it helps you answer |
|---|---|
| Session and error volume | Are applications healthy and actively reporting? |
| Policy posture | Are active rules producing healthy outcomes? |
| Regulatory evidence | Is evidence coverage strong enough for review and audit? |
| Pending actions | What needs acknowledgement, approval, or follow-up now? |
Most cards link directly to the next workspace, such as Applications, Compliance, Alerts, or Sessions.
Focus items and action cards
Home highlights the work that should happen next. Depending on role, that can include alert follow-up, missing evidence, policy coverage gaps, or unresolved reviews.
This is the fastest way to move from summary to action without manually hunting through multiple pages.
Role switcher and sandbox guidance
In sandbox, the top banner includes persona switching and maturity-stage tour controls. Use them to understand how navigation and copy change across roles.
This is especially useful when validating rollout, training teams, or checking that docs and onboarding material match the live product.
Using Home Well
- Start on Home to spot what changed since your last visit.
- Use the top cards and focus items to choose the next workspace.
- Move to Applications, Sessions, Alerts, or Compliance for deeper analysis.
- Return to Home when you need to reorient by role or workload.
