Enforce a rule
When Shadow results match what you expect, enforce the rule. For production applications, enforcement follows your organization’s approval settings. A staged rollout can apply the rule to some applications first.

Compare Shadow results
Review what the rule would have decided. Look for actions it would stop or escalate that it shouldn’t, and actions it misses.
Enforce
Select Enforce. For production applications, your organization may require one or two approvers besides you. The approval covers that exact rule version.
Use a staged rollout
A staged rollout enforces the rule on some applications first. If a stage starts stopping or escalating noticeably more decisions, the rollout can hold until someone with publisher access records why it can continue. Holding never moves applications back to Shadow.
