Handle a decision in code
For each governed action, VeriProof returns a result: Allow, Warn, Transform, Escalate, or Deny. Your code proceeds, adjusts, waits for a person, or stops. Then it reports what happened, so the record is complete.

Act on each result
| Result | Your code |
|---|---|
| Allow | Proceeds with the action |
| Warn | Proceeds, and the warning is recorded |
| Transform | Proceeds with the adjusted value VeriProof returns |
| Escalate | Waits for a person’s decision, then resumes as directed |
| Deny | Doesn’t perform the action |
Wait for a person
An escalated action pauses until an authorized reviewer decides. Your application receives the decision through a signed callback or by checking the review. Permission to continue doesn’t confirm the action succeeded, so report the outcome after it runs.
Report the outcome
Report what the application did after the decision. Without an outcome, the record shows the decision but not its effect.
