Personal settings

Open Personal settings from your avatar menu to manage your account. Administrators manage organization-wide controls in Settings.

The page is headed My account. View your profile and sign-in activity, and manage your time zone, review availability, AI assistance, email preferences, and quiet hours.

Most choices save as soon as you make them. Quiet hours have their own Save; if you try to leave with unsaved quiet hours, VeriProof asks first.

View your profile

Your full name, email address, and role are read-only. To change your name, update the account you use to sign in, then sign in to VeriProof again.

VeriProof refreshes your name when your sign-in provider supplies one. If it doesn’t, your current name stays in place. Organizations that use directory provisioning through SCIM can also update names between sign-ins. Contact your administrator if your sign-in account needs a correction you can’t make yourself.

Choose your time zone

Under My profile, Time zone starts on Use my organization’s time zone. Pick another zone to see VeriProof in your own time. Search by any city; each entry shows its offset from UTC. The choice saves right away, and times on the page update.

Your time zone applies to:

  • Times shown across VeriProof
  • Your quiet hours and Away until
  • Times in the emails and notices sent to you, and the day your daily summary covers

Reports, compliance periods, and day-by-day groupings keep your organization’s time zone, so everyone sees the same totals for the same day.

Manage your ServiceNow account

ServiceNow is under validation and limited to approved organizations. ServiceNow account appears when either:

  • Your organization has enabled ServiceNow reviews and you’re an approved reviewer with permission to review at least one application.
  • Your account is already connected to the current organization connection, so you can disconnect it.

The section is hidden in demo and role preview. Connected confirms your account connection; connecting does not grant review permission.

Select Disconnect account and confirm to disconnect your own account. Reconnect before reviewing tickets in ServiceNow. Other people’s accounts and the organization’s connection stay in place. Existing decisions remain recorded.

To connect again, select Review request on your assigned ServiceNow ticket. Sign in to your own VeriProof account and confirm. If the result cannot be confirmed, select Refresh to check the status before trying again.

Set your review availability

Under Review availability, choose Away until, in your time zone. If someone else can take your applications, choose them under Send new reviews to; the list shows only people who can review your applications, and whether they can take all of them. Select Mark me away. New reviews go to the person you chose, or to the next reviewer on each application’s review route. Reviews already assigned to you stay with you. If no one else can review an application, its new reviews wait for your return and their deadlines pause.

Select I’m back to receive new reviews again. If Outlook linking is available, you can use automatic replies to mark yourself away. Away time you set here takes priority over Outlook.

Choose AI assistance

Turn on Use AI assistance to ask questions about your recorded evidence in Ask VeriProof. If your organization has turned off AI assistance, you cannot turn it on here.

Review account activity

Expand Sign-in activity to load recent sign-ins. The section shows your last sign-in and up to 10 recent entries from the past 90 days. Each entry includes the sign-in method and IP address when recorded.

If history cannot load, try again later. If you see a sign-in you do not recognize, follow your organization’s account-security procedure.

Choose your email frequency

Under Email preferences, choose when to receive Optional emails:

  • As they happen sends role-relevant email when an event occurs.
  • Daily summary groups eligible updates into one daily email.
  • No optional email turns off optional notification email. Account access email, including invitations and recovery, is managed separately.

Your choice saves as soon as you pick it, and a confirmation appears.

This choice applies to all optional notification emails. Updates stay in your VeriProof Inbox.

Set quiet hours

Turn on Use quiet hours, choose the start and end times, then select Save. The times are in your time zone; change it under My profile. Non-urgent email, Teams, and Slack messages pause during those hours. Critical alerts and review assignments with deadlines still arrive right away.

With No optional email, held updates appear only in your Inbox. With Daily summary, email keeps its daily schedule; non-urgent Teams and Slack updates appear only in your Inbox during quiet hours.

Organization-wide delivery

Administrators manage organization delivery through Notification Channels. Your personal setting does not configure those channels or change another person’s preferences.

Use No optional email to stop your optional notification email without removing updates from your inbox.
