MAP function

MAP establishes the context, people, use, and risks associated with an AI system.

Supporting records

Begin with the application’s purpose, environment, and owner. Add model references, known risks, and the affected workflow.

VeriProof can retain this context only where application setup or the integration supplies it. Check the recorded fields before relying on them.

Build the context

  1. Define the AI system and applications in scope.
  2. Identify intended use, affected people, and accountable owners.
  3. Record known risks, assumptions, dependencies, and limitations.
  4. Confirm which context fields VeriProof captures.
  5. Treat missing source coverage as an evidence gap.

Add customer-owned impact analysis, stakeholder input, legal scope, and risk acceptance. VeriProof does not infer these decisions from session data.
